A Mother's Day Reflection

Mother’s Day always brings a flood of feelings; love, gratitude, celebration, and sometimes exhaustion or grief. It’s a powerful reminder that motherhood holds multitudes. And for me, it’s also a time to return to the heart of my work: mothering the mother.

When it comes to pregnancy, birth, and early parenting, massage so much more than a luxury. It’s a way of offering steady, compassionate care to someone who’s moving through the powerful transformation of becoming a parent.

Why I Believe in Mothering the Mother

Pregnancy and postpartum are profound transitions. Your body is working overtime. Your emotions may feel intense and unfamiliar. And in all the attention (rightly) given to the baby, the person growing, birthing, and nurturing that baby often gets lost in the shuffle.

But you matter. Your comfort matters. Your nervous system, your breath, your ability to feel calm and centered in your own body- all of that matters deeply.

That’s why I do what I do. I offer massage not just to ease sore muscles, but to create space for you to feel supported, safe, and reconnected with yourself. I believe when mothers are nurtured, families are stronger. And that ripple effect reaches far beyond the massage table.

You Deserve to Be Cared For

Mothering is powerful. It’s tender and raw and exhausting and beautiful. And while there’s no one right way to walk this path, I believe you’re not meant to do it alone.

This Mother’s Day, I invite you to let yourself receive care - whether that means booking a massage, asking for help, or simply allowing yourself a moment to rest. You are doing so much, and you deserve to feel supported every step of the way.

With Gratitude

As I reflect on Mother’s Day and the work I get to do, I’m filled with so much gratitude for you, my clients and community. Thank you for allowing me into your pregnancy journeys, your postpartum healing, your moments of uncertainty and strength. Thank you for trusting me with your care, your stories, and your growing families.

Because of you, I get to do the work that lights me up. Work that’s grounded in deep respect for the power of birth, the strength of parents, and the quiet magic of nurturing touch.

It is truly my honor to support you, and I’m so thankful to walk this path alongside you. Happy Mother's Day.
