Samantha brings 13 years of experience in the field of massage therapy working with many clients to relieve chronic pain into this empowering self care workshop for women.

What You Will Learn

This class is designed to empower you with a set of skills, tools, and techniques to help prevent the onset of tension headaches, and reduce their severity when they do occur. Taught by a licensed massage therapist, these techniques are effective and deliver consistent results.

Self Massage Techniques

You will learn effective self massage techniques that you can use to relieve tension in your neck, shoulders, and jaw.

Targeted Stretches

These gentle, do-anywhere stretches will be targeted for specific muscles which can hold tension and trigger headaches.

You will also receive a complimentary set of massage cups and therapeutic grade massage oil to take home.

Massage Cupping Techniques

Massage cupping is considered to be a gentle deep tissue technique that delivers long lasting results by using the massage cups to create a negative pressure (pulling the muscle and fascia up off of the body, rather than using a lot of force to press into the body). Under the guidance of your instuctor, you will learn how to deeply and safely release tension in the neck and shoulders using your own set of massage cups!

Who Is This Class For?

Tame Your Tension Headache is for women who want to be empowered with techniques to help themselves feel better. The content of this class considered safe for most people. To ensure they are safe for you, a brief intake form is required when you register.

How To Get The Most From This Class

Tame Your Tension Headache will be taught at Infinite Bliss Yoga Studio.

  • Please bring a yoga mat and a refillable water bottle.

  • Be prepared to be barefoot in the studio.

  • During portions of this class, we will be seated on the floor on a yoga mat. Please let your instructor know ahead of time should you need accommodations to comfortably attend (such as a yoga blanket to sit on or a chair.)

  • Please wear comfortable clothing, and a top that allows access to the muscles of the neck and shoulder (a tank top or sports bra are most ideal.)
